Classic 130 x 1000mm f/7.7 Lunar and Planetary Newtonian with EQ2 mount
Looking for a little more aperture than the 114mm reflector at an affordable price then the Sky-Watcher 130mm f/7.7 long focal length Newtonian scope is good option. With enough aperture to study many faint objects, its longer primary focal length will also produce stunning, views of the major planets as well as the Moon. Unlike cheaper models found in some stores, the lens element increasing the telescopes primary focal length and allowing it to be a more compact design is in fact housed in a well baffled central tube behind the secondary mirror rather than a cheap lens built into in the drawtube.
